City of Dawson Creek

They accept some responsibility for the revitalization
relative to their area on the Map. Wanted to know costs.

City of Enderby

A motion was made to send copies of our letter to the
schools, the Legion, the Lions Club, and the Museum
society with a letter asking them to give serious
consideration to our letter. City’s policiy is that they
pay a once a year grant to the local Chamber of Commerce,
and they then consider worthwhile inititatives and
chartities to donate money to.

Town of Gibsons
Council applaudes the decision by ‘the PNE board to
restore the Challenger Relief Map, and will pass along
any suggestions which may he brought forward regarding

possible assistance. They cannot offer financial
assistance.

City of Kimberley

They are not in a position at this time to contribute to
our project, but wish us success.

Village of Lytton
Interested and wanted more information.
District of Mataqul
Pleased to assist in the promotion of the Map.
City of Kelson
Council passed:
"That the request from the PNE regarding the refurbishing
of the Map be referred to the Regional District of

Central Kootenay and the Nelson and District Chamber of
Commerce".

ond letter stated that Nelson City Council had approved
a Grant-in-Aid in the amount of $100.00 for the PNE to
go towards the- restoration of the Map. No cheque
received yet.
