SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit No. 1/89
for 1857 Harbour Street.

RESOLUTION:

That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his
memorandum of January 12th, 1989 a Voluntary Development Variance Permit be
approved relaxing the side yard requirement for Lot 4 of Lot C, Block 55, D.L.
232, Group One, NWLD Plan 5854 from 1.2 metres to 0 metres.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Council at its meeting of
January 16th, 1989 the owners and residents of property surrounding the
subject property have been advised that Council are considering issuance of
this Voluntary Development Variance Permit at its meeting of Febuary 6th,
1989. Accordingly, at this time written or verbal submissions should be
considered by the Council and a decision reached as to whether or not the
Development Variance Permit should be issued.
