That the Westwood Home and School Associatton be permitted to erect.
and remove plywood Silhouettes of schoo] children at two points along
Hastings Street during schoo| hours, namely at Kitchener Avenue and
Patricia Avenue tn accordance with the attached letters ;

And that the City Install crosswalks at the two above locations in
order to concentrate the crossing of students at these two points;

And that the City assist with the construction of the plywood
Silhouettes by donating the Plywoed and reflective materia

for 1985 Capital Budget.

That the Engineer be authorized to proceed with the following items in the
1985 Provisional Capital Budget:

(a) Intersection improvements for new bus routes [in the amount of $12,000 out
of Revenue.

(b) Order for later delivery equipment to replace worn out vehicles in the
existing fleet at a total cost of $159,000 to come out of the Equipment
Reserve.

Order the relocation of B.C, Hydro, Telephone, Cablevision Poles and an
Underground vault In Preparation for the reconstruction of the two
remaining blocks of Oxtord Street between Prairie and Westminster Avenues
at a cost of $28,000 to be Split between Genera} Revenue and the Dept. of
Highways under the Revenue Sharing Program. |
