COUN MAR 14 {974 ASSOCIATION OF CONCERNED CITIZENS c/o Mrs. S.L. Gullickson 519Laurier Ave., Port Conuitlam B.C. February 23, 1974 Mayor Campbell and Council; City Hall 2272 McAllister Ave., Port Coquitlam B.C. Bear Mayor Campbell and Council; RE: Parking Signs on Cedar Drive The Association of Concerned Citizens have been asking our Council for some time, to place "time resticted no parking" signs on Uedar Drive. Though Council has partially complied, there is still a problem area along the Raad. These children are on the prongs of a very sharp dilemma. Should he ride his bike on the proper side of the road, he must beware of the deep, ditch on the roadside, Should he ride on the opposite side, he must dodge not only parked cars, and walking children, but also the heavy bus/truck and cars traffic. We feel council ia fully aware of this. We have certainly been complaining enough! = The ACC implore your direct efforts in placing "No parking" signs along the entire length of the Cedar Drive area, in question. It seems unfortunate, we are getting "a block at a' time". We are hopeful, you will realize this situation it unique, and can only worsen without proper rectification, now. We ernestiy await your decision, gentlemen. Thank you . Webra). Li, A: cpscrd Mre. S.L. Gullickson
