Scott re Regional Districe Committee Appointments ~ cont'd, As to the alleged "lack of involvement of other Council members of member municipalities", I can only say that this is up to the Council membereg who sit as Directors as to what reports they make to their Councils and the degree to which the individual Council members fare to involve themselves. The final criticisn of the Port Moody Council that the same people are appointed to several committees regardless of the importance of the area they represent really surprises me. As a long-standing critic of the Board being "Vancouver" dominated, I Support the representatives of the smaller municipalities being appointed to major committees. It is high time that the "little voices" are being heard and I an pleased that: this is now taking place. As with our local Council Committee appointments, many factors must be considered and the duty of Committee appointments is not an easy one, whether it be local or regional. While I do and shail probably continue to criticize the Board on various matters, I cannot, in all sincerity, support the criticism levelled by Port Moody presented to us. Respectfully submitted, Mayor L.B. Scott. attschment,
