The official weather recorder gave
out on Monday that during the previ-
ons twenty-four hours there had been
one degree of frost. ‘hat was the
first for the senson. It did not do any
harm just here, but in the low lying
gardens there was'some damage. As

Last Thursday Mrs. George Little

ghters and her youngest son, Gordon,
returned ta New Hazelton from a trip
south hy motor. They loaded the car
here and shipped ‘it ' back to Terrace
and the tourists rend on the train too.
Mrs. Little said that they went as far
as Tacoma and had a wonderful trip.
Enroute she lost one of her daughters
who will remain in the south for some
time,
