ans. Compositeur qui jusqu’a maintenant a principalement fait carri¢re
dans l’industrie du jeu vidéo, Marc Baril produit de la musique de tous
genres depuis plus de 15 ans, allant de la musique pop aux compostions
orchestrales. Il a d’ailleurs regu quelques commandes de 1|’Orchestre
Symphonique de Vancouver et de celui de Victoria. En juillet 2008,
il est sélectionné pour participer au prestigieux et exclusif atelier de
composition de musique de Film et Télé organisé par l’ ASCAP: un |
stage d’une durée d’un mois a Los Angeles. Depuis décembre 2009, |
Mare collabore avec Genevieve au sein du duo Di Van. La sortie de leur
premier EP est prévue pour février 2012. |

Hailing from Mont-Saint-Hilaire in Quebec, Genevieve Chassé has
been living in Vancouver since 2001. In April, 2007, she won the 16th
season of the Pacifique en Chanson competition. After an initiation into
theatre and the visual arts, as well as dance and writing, Genevieve
pursued a number of artistic paths, including singing, which has been
her main interest for nearly six years now. A composer who has until
now mainly made a career in the video games industry, Marc Baril has
been producing all kinds of music for over 15 years, ranging all the way
from pop music to compositions for orchestra. He has received a number
of commissions from both the Vancouver and the Victoria Symphony
Orchestras. In July 2008, he was selected to take part in the prestigious
and exclusive workshop for composing music for film and television
organised by the ASCAP, which involved a one-month internship in Los
Angeles. Since December 2009, Marc has been working with Genevieve
in the duo called di Van. The release of their first EP is planned for
February 2012.
