FROM: Land Sales Committee

The Land Sales Committee has received a request from the owner of land
at 3032 Oxford Street to purchase a small piece of City lane allowance

on the east side of Oxford, north of Coquitlam Avenue. (see attached map).

The Committee feel that this piece of lane will never be used for any
City purpose and that, providing the Consents can be obtained from the
adjacent owners, that it could be abandoned and sold to the applicant.

The rates that have been applied to residential City-land has been $1.50
per square foot and this rate is appropriate in this instance. The total

sale price would, therefore, be $2,896.

The Committee recommends that Consents be obtained to abandon the lane
allowance and that it be offered for sale to the owner of 3032 Oxford

Street.
