THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM
BYLAW NO. 2143

A Bylaw to designare the Rowland Lacrosse
Box as a Municipal Heritage Site,

WHEREAS under the provisions of the Heritage Conservation Act, being Chapter 165
of the Revised Statutes of British Columbla, 1979, a Municipal! Counc! } may, by
bylaw, designate a bullding, structure or Jand, In whole or In part, as a
municipal her! tage site;

AND WHEREAS the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the Clty of Port
Coquitiam deems It deslrous to designate the structure known as the Rowland

Lacrosse Box" as such a heritage site;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Councl! of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam enacts as follows:

The structure known as the Rowland Lacrosse Box situated on the parce! of rea!
property herelnafter deserlbed:

Part (One Decimal One Hundred and Elghty~four (1.184) acres more or less) of Lot
Two Hundred and Elghty=nine (289) Group One (1) lying within the fol lowing
described boundaries:-

COMMENCING at the Intersection of the Westerly boundary of the School House Road
with the Southerly boundary of WI) son Avenue, the same being 792.7 feet Westerly,
measured along the North boundary of sald Lot 289, and 33 feet Southerly,
measured along the Westerly boundary of Schoo! House Road, from the North East
corner .of sald Lot 289, Group 1; thence 8.89 deg. 46 feet West and following the
sald Southerly boundary of Wilson Avenue, a distance of 513.5 feet more or less
to the Easterly boundary of a 10' lane (see Plan 2078); thence South 1 deg. 20!
‘West and following the Easterly boundary of sald 10! lane, a distance of 165
feet; thence North 89 deg. 46' East and parallel to the sald Southerly boundary
of Wilson Avenue a distance of 313.5 feet more or less to the Westerly boundary
of the School House Road; thence North 1 deg. 20' East and following sald
Westerly boundary of Schcol House Road, a distance of 165 feet, more or less, to
the polnt of commencement as shown outitned Red on Sketch deposited No. 4711.

City of Port Coquitiam, In the District of New Westminster;

Is hereby designated as a municipal heritage site.
