3. The indemnity provided for in Sections 1 and 2 hereof shall be

paid by the City Treasurer in twelve equal monthly installments during the
menths of December, 1981 through November 1982, inclusive, to the person or
persons entitled to receive same without further order or resolution of the
Council save and except as provided in Section 4 of this Bylaw.

4. In the event any member of Council is absent for more than three
consecutive regular Council meetings the indémnity that would otherwise be

due that member shall not be paid to that member. The provisions of this

“Section may be watved by unanimous vote of the remaining members of Council.

5. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Council Indemnity

Bylaw, 1982, No. 1884".

Read a third time by the Municipal Council this Fifteenth day of
