Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Ranger
stated his objection to encouraging residential building in a flood
plain area; however, the City Engineer advised that approval therefore
had been received today from Victoria and Alderman Thompson pointed out
that the >roperty in question is at approximately the same land level

as two-thirds of the City.

shown dedicated on Plans 2106 and 2137, District Lot 255, Group One, New
Westminster District in exchange for sufficient land to relocate the
said portions of read and lane.
