Re: Pigeon By-law

A draft of the above noted By-law, prepared by our Solicitor, is attached

for Council's perusal. Council members will recall that when the subject
was last before the Counil on December 6th, 1976 it was agreed that the
matter would be table until this time pending receipt of further information

and we trust that the draft By-law gives the Council the information they

require and shows the type of control that can be exercised.

We would emphasize that the By-law is in draft form and is not suitable
to receive any readings at this time; and, additionally, amendments rust
be made to the Animai Control By-law and possibly to the Zoning By-law to
coincide with the terms of the Pigeon By-law should the Council wish to

proceed with it. Also attached is a Petition in favour of the proposed

By-law and an article provided by Mr. J. De Vries.
