for. this. area, and stated, he chad stressed very ‘strongly the. need for construc= -
tion of the Mary Hild by-pass. Mayor - canpbell mentioned that: the delegation had ©
‘been advised tenders have been called for construction of a bridge over» the Fitt
River a short ‘distance upstream ‘from the existing bridge and Sur-laning of the
Lougheed Highway will, commence’ in the next short, while; also, that the Sharp 7
Street by-pass will be going out to tender shortly, and the Barnet Highway will
be upgraded to four lanes as will Clarke Road from the North Road in 1 Burquitlan

to Port. Moody.
