Re: Hyde Park Recreation Centre

As we previously discussed on Friday, June 17, 1994, I met with
Specialty Coatings and Alpiue Interior Systems to review the epoxy
flooring work on the project. As a result of the meeting, it
became clear that Specialty Coatings had severely misinterpreted
thea scope of work cauging 4 substantial error in their quotation.
Attached hereto is a letter dated dune 20,1 994 from Specialty
Coatings advising of tho correct price which is revised to

$62,878.00, including GStt.

.The price from Alpine Interior Systems was in accordance with

drawings and specifications at §65,810,00. They also had a
combined bid for epoxy floors, pool epoxy and tile work at
§112,580.00, GST included. The individual totals of epoxy and tile

work ias

Alpine Interior Systeme 5 00
$115,010.00

As 4 result, we ave revising our contract award recommendation per
latter o£ June 01, 1994 to:
