The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Pore

Coquitlam will hold a Public Hearing in. the Council Chambers, Port
Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on
Monday, October 20th, 1980 at 7:30 p-m. to consider the following Proposed

by~law to amend the “City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1979, No.

1651".

By-law No. 1778: © Sub-Section (6) of Section

24 of the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1979,

No. 1651" is repealed and the following substituted:

"(6) SIDE YARD: fo, ;

(a) - Interior Side Lot Line:

' "A side yard shall be provided from each interior

side lot line of net less than 10% of the lot
width SUBJECT to a minimum requirement of 1.2m
(3.94 ft.) and a maximum requirement of 1.8 m

(5.91 ft.) °

Exterior Side Lot Line:

A side yard shall be provided from each exterior
side lot line of not less than 20% of the lot width
SUBJECT to a minimum requirement of 2.4 m (7.87 ft.)
and a maximum requirement ‘of 3.5 m (11.48 fr.)".
The foregoing amendment will simplify, and in some cases reduce,
the side yard requirements in the RS-1 zone and all land in the RS-1 zone
in the City will be affected.
A copy of the proposed By-law may be inspected in the Office of the
City Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hall, at the address given above, between

the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on working days, Octcber 9th, 1980 to

October 20th, 1980. ‘

All persons who deem their interest in Property affected by the
proposed by-law shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the

Public Hearing on matters contained in the By-law. . FIRST TWO READINGS
