~2 = In addition to this the District of Coquitlam has suggested that the Municipalities make provision now for the eventual replacement of this incinerator by making an annual provision of $5,000.00 commencing in 1981 (shared on the S.P.C.A, financing formula). This would accumulate sufficient funds to allow for replacement of the incinerator in 1987. The Committee there- fore recommends that: (1) We agree with the City of Port Moody and the District of Coquitlam that the Municipality of Maple Ridge be informed that as at December 3lst, 1981 we will no longer be able to accept pathological waste from the Municipality for incineration, and (2) That we appropriate annually commencing in 1981 the sum of $5,000.00 to accumulate a sum sufficient to allow for replacement of the incinerator by 1987, 4, Door to Door License Canvas The &.P.C.A. has commenced a door to door canvas for Dog Licenses within the City. Mr. Homes apologized for not informing the Council officially of this program as it has caused a number of inquiries from residents.
