Liquor Permits

RE: Block Parties -

Council will note the requestsfor block parties on the agenda for the Council
Meeting to be held on August 14, 1972.

We have been requested by Staff Sergeant Williams to ascertain, on an informal
basis, the Council's views towards the granting of liquor permits for these
functions. The R.C.M.P. are, apparently, becoming a trifle concerned with the
frequency of requests for such permits and have requested some guidance from
Council.
