on the CBC national network
on Sunday, January 30, 1977
at 2:30 p.m. ,

The Canadian | Finals
Rodeo is the sudden-death
showdown for the rodeo
championships of Canada,
and was presented in the
Edmonton Coliseum in
November. :

The 60-minute special,.
produced by CBC Edmonton
under the direction of Larry
Areand, will include
Highlights from the last four
performances, but will
concentrate on the last day
when the Canadian rodeo
champions were ‘deter-

Workshop
for singers

Terrace Talent Educators
are pleased to announce that
Merla Aikman will give a
series of vocal classes in
Terrace on February 5 and 6
at St, Matthews Anglican
Church.

Merla Aikman, one of
Canada's outstanding
singers and teachers, has
recently adjudicated the
. Provincial Finals of the
British Columbia Music
Festival, and .since Sep-
tember has sung leading
roles in the. "Barber of
Seville” and the “Messiah”.

She has, in addition, given f

University of Alberta, a f

and will sing with Beverly
