BYLAW NO. 2445

A Bylaw to Amend "City of Port Coquitlam
Pound and Animal Regulation Bylaw, 1970, No. 1020”

The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in
open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. Section 1 of the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound and Animal Regulation
Bylaw, 1970, No. 1020" is amended by inserting, after subsection (g), the
following as subsection (h):

"(h) 'vicious dog’ shall mzan any dog with a known propensity,
tendency or disposition to attack without provocation other
domestic animals or humans, or any dog which has bitten another
domestic animal or human without provocation."

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as “City of Port Coquitlam Pound
and Animal Regulation Bylaw, 1970, No. 1020, Amendment Bylaw, 1989, No.
2445”.
