SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit No. 24/88
for 1385 Yarmouth.

RESOLUTION:

That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his
memorandum of March 23rd, 1988 a Voluntary Development. Variance Permit to
relax the setback reguirements of the Zoning Bylaw Section 802, RS-2,
Subsections 4 and 6, front and rear yards.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Council at its meeting of
March 28th, 1988 the owners and residents of property surrounding the subject
property have been advised that Council are considering issuance of this
Voluntary Development Variance Permit at its meeting of April 18th, 1988.
Accordingly, at this time written or yerbal submissions should be considered
by the Council and a decision reached as to whether or not the pevelopment
Variance Permit should be issued.
