BYLAW NO. 2195
A Bylaw to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port JUL T= 1986
Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Road shown dedicated AUG 1 1 1986
on Plan 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster
District In exchange for a portion of Lot 7, Ptan 860, lying
North of Road on Plan 29238, District Lot 463, Group One, New
Westminster District, to be established as Road.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Part Coquitiam is desirous of cancel | ing a
portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New
Westminster District In the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British

Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has
agreed to convey the said tand to the City so that It may be established as an
addition to the Roads In District Lot 463, Group One, New Westminster District;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" belng Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British

Columbia, 1979, provides that the Counci! may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a

highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of Improving,
widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the -Municipa! Counc!!! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam,

in open meeting assembled, enacts as fol lows:

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is hereby authorized to convey to the
registered owner of the property described In Section 2 of this Bylaw, all and
singular those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more

particularty described as fol lows:

Alt that portion of road in District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District
as shown dedicated on registered plan 2294, included within the heavy outline on
reference plan certified by Robert M. Reese, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and

dated the 13th day of June, 1986, @ copy of which is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of $1.00 In exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of
land described in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam Is hereby authorized to purchase of and
from the Registered Owner thereof ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of

land and premises which may be more particularly described as fol lows:

All that portion of Lot 7, lying North of road on Pian 29238, District Lot 463,
Group One, New Westminster District as shown on registered Plan 860, Included
within the heavy outline on reference plan certified by Robert M. Reeso, British
Columbia Land Surveyor and dated the {3th day of June, 1986, a copy of which Is

attached hereto; ;

at or for the price or sum of $1.00 In exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of
land described In the preceding Section hereof.

That portion of Road shown dedicated on Pian 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New
Westminster District, described In Section 1 hereof, Is hereby closed and stopped up

to traffic of all kinds.
