Alvin was born In Selby, South Dakota in 1910 and as a young per- son, came to Canada and sattled near Edmonton, Alta. In 1934 he moved to Terrace ‘where he worked at logging as truck driver, mechanic and partsman. Funeral sar- vices were held from the Evangelical Free church and officiated by Pastor Bob Shatford. Pallbearers were Cecil Bartlatt, Doug Benson, Archie Both, Stan Doll, Guy Pratt and Randy MacKay.
