| 4Parenthése | Inter-cultural Families The FPFCB is preparing to develop a new workshop on ie exogamy (inter-cultural families). The workshop will be designed for francophone parents and cover topics regarding the introduction and integration of non francophone parents into the daily routine of the school. The workshop will be prepared in collaboration with the Fédé- ration des parents francophones of Alberta, with whom we will pool our expertise on fhe subject to develop the sessions. We will also use this opportunity to review the ExTeam workshop for non francophone parents with a view to adapting it for pres- entation to the parents of preschoolers. Brochure on BC Educational Programs First published by the FPFCB in 1988, this brochure distinguishes among francophone schools, French Second Language pro- grams (i.e. French immersion), and Basic French. The brochure details differences in terms of client-base, program objectives, and approaches used. The brochure is currently under review, this in cooperation with Canadian Parents for French, BC Chapter. The new version should be printed by late March, then distributed to parents associations for use in their recruiting campaigns.
