While the Presentation handout does not provide an
exhaustive description of the proposed system, it
does indicate to a large degree what is expected will
be accomplished with it up and running.

This system will also eventually permit police
vehicles to oe connected directly with the system
which will allow for policemen to spend more time in
the community rather than at the office completing
reports.

To put it very bluntly, we will in one way or another
be forced to accept the new system if we retain
R.C.M.P. as our Police Force and by agreeing in
principle at thig time we simply forego the agony of
fighting a losing battle and, as well, the proposal
should provide a better information system to the
