That the prioroties fer future works of Local Improvement shall be
determined by Council rather than by following in chronological order the
list of projects dated September 30th, 1974 that was accepted by Council
at a previous meeting.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution, the
following motion was proposed:

That the foregoing proposed resolution concerning priorities for
future works of Local Improvement be considered as a Notice of Motion to
be presented at the next Council meeting. Carried.
From the City Clerk, December 6th, 1974, stating his belief that City Clerk reg

the Treasurer has discussed with the Finance Committee the desirability Bank A/C,etc.
of establishing a Fetty Cash Bank Account with the City's bankers so
that cheques for small amounts could be prepared bearing only one signature
rather than the two signatures required on the City's General Bank
Account and advising that the Treasurer has also suggested that since
the Social Assistance Account is no longer in active use (Social Assistance
payments now being made by the Province), it would be wise to re~institute

the requirement for dual signing of cheques drawn on this account.

That the proviso contained in Section 2 of the resolution passed at
a regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam held on January 14th, 1974, pertaining to bank
signing authority be repealed and the following substituted therefor:

"PROVIDED that cheques drawn on the Payroll Account or the Petty

Cash Bank Account need only be signed by one of the above-noted persons."
