From the City Clerk, December 6th, 1974, stating his belief that City Clerk reg Petty Cash the Treasurer has discussed with the Finance Committee the desirability Bank A/C,etc. of establishing a Fetty Cash Bank Account with the City's bankers so that cheques for small amounts could be prepared bearing only one signature rather than the two signatures required on the City's General Bank Account and advising that the Treasurer has also suggested that since the Social Assistance Account is no longer in active use (Social Assistance payments now being made by the Province), it would be wise to re~institute the requirement for dual signing of cheques drawn on this account.
