SUBJECT: Nissan Canada
Development Permit Application #4/85

RECOMMENDATION: That City Council | adopt the following resolution,

WHEREAS the Permittee wishes ta commence a
development on the Lands herein defined;

AND WHEREAS the Permittee has made application for a
Development Permit in regard to the Lands;

AND WHEREAS the Municipal Act R.S.B.C. 1979, ©. 290
provides that in a Development Permit certain matters
may be varied or supplemented in the manner specified
Therein;

NOW THEREFORE the Council of the City hereby issues a
Development Permit in raspect of ALL AND SINGULAR
That certain parcel of [and situate in Port
Coqultiam, British Columbia, which jis more
particularly described as:

@# acre portion of Lot 194 of Distriet Lot 380 Group
|, Plan 58154 and Lot 3, Distriet Lor 380, Group |,
Plan 6234, both of New Westminster District. ~

COMMENTS;

The proposed revisions to the Nissan site are as a result of changes
to the overall site traffic pattern. In the original drawings, there
WaS No provision made for an acceleration lane out from the middle of
The’ property onto Lougheed Highway beside Nissan. The acceleration
lane being provided will take five metres (16 feet) from the Nissan
Site along Lougheed Highway. Oue to that change, the building has
been redesigned and moved south on the site closer to Shaftsbury,
Changes to the building reducing Its size Include removal of provisian
for auto body work and shrinking of the service bays,
