YO, Bea hen Scie an pernaba THE CORPORATION OY THE CITY OF PORT CO y N BY-LAW NO. 1645 A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam to dispose of a portion of Imperial Avenue shown dedicated on Plan 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District in exchange for sufficient. land to relocate the said road, WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Imperial Avenue shown dedicated on Plan 2294, District | Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia; | AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of . this “By-law has agreed to convey the said ‘land to the City in exchange for the lands comprising the portion of Imperial Avenue shown dedicated on Plan 2294, District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District, to be cancelled; AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By-law dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands.as may, be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; . NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, envcts as follows:. 1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the land desiribed in Section 2 of this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or ‘tract of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: ALL that portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 2294 adjacent to a portion of the South boundary of Block 9 in District Lot 466, Group One, New Westminster District containing an area of 0.0586 ha. shown within the green outline on a By-law Plan sworn by Robert M. Reese, B.C.L.S. and dated the i2th day of December 1978, a copy of which is attached hereto at or for the price or sum of Nine Thousand Four Hundred Seventy ($9,470.00) Dollars and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.
