The National Association of Kinsmen Clubs, will be holding their annual national convention in Vancouver from August 18-21 of this years The bulk of the organizing for this convention is being managed for the most part by member of the Kinsmen Club of Port Coquitlam, as can be evidenced by our letterhead. The name of the Port Coquitlam Kinsmen Club has been Closely allied with the hesting of this convention, an opportunity that Kinsmen in British Columbia regeive once every 8 years. The size of the booklet is 4" x 9", and the cost of a Pull ad is $700.00 per page. I think personally this would be an excellent media to publicize the city's close co-operation with Kinsmen in general, and evidence of continuing support for the efforts of Kinsmen within the community. For your information, Mayor Jim Tenn has taken out a Full page ad on behalf of the District. Mayor and Council. , Kinsmen in Canada are completing their 56th year of service to Canada, and our local club its 11th year of service to the community.
