Subject: Call for Proposal - Construction Manager for Hyde Creek
(Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting June 10, 1993

i Recommendations:

1) It is recommended that City staff be authorized to obtain proposals from
construction managers interested in working as part of our team in designing and
constructing the expansion and retrofit of the Hyde Creek; and

That the attached draft of the "Request for Proposals” and "Terms of Reference”
be endorsed

Background & Comments:

The attached report was reviewed and endorsed by the Parks & Recreation Committee. It
was felt that the construction management process most closely meets the needs of the
Hyde Creek project and provides the City with the greatest opportunity to maximize the
value received for our construction dollar.
