SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR TWO HOUR PARKING RESTRICTIONS, WORTH SIDE OF
PRAIRIE, WEST OF ULSTER SYRERT

Recommendation:

That the City approve the placement of two hour parking restrictions on the
north side of Praicie Avenue from Ulater to 75 metres west of Ulster.

Background & Cogments:

The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the

Project/Traffic Technician regarding a patition from local businesses for the
placement of two hour parking reatrictions signe on the north side of Prairie

Avenue, west of Ulster.

At present, staff from the new shopping plaza at the northeast corner of
Prairie and Coast Meridian park all day on the northside of Prairie Avenue,
west of Ulster. The Committee concluded that it would be appropriate to
install two hour maximum parking signe at this location, in order to provide

more convenient parking for the public.
