APPENDIX A

During the past years a movement began to found a national organization
of victim services programs in Canada. The association would be known

as C.0.V.A. (Canadian Organization of Victim Assistance) and will hold

its first annual meeting and conference in May of 1989. At this time

an executive will be elected of which I have been nominated vice-president.
I have had considerable input into the forming of this organization as

the coordinator of a registered and well known police based program and
also as treasurer of the B.C. Association of Police Based Victim/Witness
Services. I feel that it is essential that our agency and community

be represented at this meeting to be held in Calgary, Alberta. Therefore,
I am requesting the following line budget (4.a.).

1. Travel Six tanks of gas x $25.00

expense of other means of
