The gap in the sidewalk on Coquitlam Avenue opposite York Street was left because the York Street road allowance formeriy went through to Suffolk Avenue. Two years ago we sold the lots in the old road allowance and houses are now constructed on them but the gap in the sidewalk still! exists, We recommend that [it now be filled at a cost of $800. Several years ago we did a road overlay program which Served to save some of our Poorer roads from further deterioration. We have not yet determined which roads would benefit from an overlay but feel that this would be the most effective expenditure of the remaining funds which-are- not reaily sufficient to do a major road reconstruction project. if KKE F.E.
