BLUE LODGE Judith Norris In Blue Lodge Norris investigates the iconography of the teepee, which in the performance is compromised and re-interpreted by the presence of a television monitor. Judith Norris is a performance artist of Cree/Russian descent. Her work investigates the liminal space she occupies between her "white" upbringing and the ongoing discovery of her Native ancestry. EVERYTHING TO KNOW ABOUT NOTHING Reona Brass In Everything to Know about Nothing Brass explores the rituals one needs in order to connect with, and to contain the flux between the self and the other. Currently based in Toronto and originally from Saskatchewan, Reona Brass has worked as a performance artist since 1992. This work first appeared at the Walter Phillips Gallery in Banff in 1994. Her appearance at Havana is dedicated to the one who taught her everything she knows about nothing.
