Ron grew up in Northern Alberta & B.C. He: worked in the loggirig industry for 10 years. He studied theology at Canadion University College in Lacombe Alta. in 1969 in ‘response to his call to the ministry. He became a pastor for 19 years and and evangelist for 10 years for the 7th Day Adventist church in western Canada. He went to the Ukraine three times to. do evangelism and raised up 5 churches there. One series was attended by the biblical gift of tongues; although a translator was pres- - ent, many in the audience heard him in their native Russian for 21 nights without the help of the translator. Ron was pastoring the 7th Day Adventist Church at the time of his death. Ron loved music. He sang and played his guitar for other travelling evangelists and also for his own evangelistic and pastoral ministires. He loved life and believed in “living life to the full’. In every way he practiced what he preached 7 - he drove fast cars, big trucks, big D-8 cats, cool {motor} . & ‘bikes and even owned and flew an airplane. He said “the 7 greatest thrill known to man is saving souls” and every mo- ment he lived to obey the great commission to do just that for his God and friend, Jesus Christ. : The Fail wishes io thank the many caregivers who extend- | Beg ed unlimited compassion and support, and become such an 65 Lost & Found Swen} important part of Emily's life.
