Preparations for the Fall bazaar, to be held November 16, are going well. The nominations committee is busy seck- ing members willing to let their names stand for the 1997 slate of officers. Vera McKenzie, co-ordinator of the vari- ous games activilies, reviewed the weekly games program as follows: Each Tuesday & Thursday, 8:45 to 9:45, the Tai Chi Exercises are held. Tuesday from 10 am to nooa, is floor Curling (more curlers would be most welcome). Then Tuesday at 7:30 pm members participate in Crib Games, Wednesday, al 1 pm, carpet bowling is held and men’s snooker is at 7 pm. On Thursday, bridge is played upstairs and floor curling downstairs - commencing ati pm. Ladies’ snooker is at 7 pm on Friday and at 2 pm it is members’ bingo. Regarding the Northem B.C. Winter Games, to be held in Terrace in February, Vera asked that members interested in sign- ing up to play crib be sure to register by December 15, The meeting ended with delicious refresh- ments and a social hour, Next meeting will be held November 14 at 2 pm, in the Happy Gang Centre.
