THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM REAL PROPERTY FOR SALE BY TENDER The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam invites tenders for the purchase of the undernoted properties: Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, Block 8, District Lot 290, Group One, Plan 1957, New Westminster District. This property is located on the south side of the 2200 Block Stafford Avenue and consists of 5 separate lots, each 37.2 m (122 ft) in depth. The width of each let varies from 12.9 m (42.4 £t) to 13.4 m (44 ft). The properties are zoned RS~2 (Small Lot Residential). Tenders must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on cutside "Tender for Stafford Avenue Property” and addressed to: R.A. Freeman, City Clerk, City of Port Coquitlan, Third Floor, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. and be in his hands by 12:00 o'clock noon, Thursday, November 30th, 1989. Any tender received after this time will be returned unopened as will all tenders inadvertently opened before the closing time as a result of not being adequately marked on the outside of the sealed envelope as required. Terms of Sale 1. A certified cheque in the amount of $5,000.00 for each lot upon which an offer is made must accompany each tender as a deposit and each tender will be open for acceptance by the Council for a period of 30 days. Upon a tender being accepted by the Council the balance of the offered price must be paid by the successful tenderer within 30 days or as soon thereafter as requested or the deposit will be forfeited. The certified cheques of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned no later than 30 days after the closing time specified above. Unless a tender specifies that in the event the tender igs unsuccessful the cheque is to be held for personal pickup from the City Hall ordinary mail will be used for return.
