THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLA} BY-LAW NO. 1397 A By-law to authorize the consolidation by subdivision of certain real property owned by The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam. WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of By-law No. 1214 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, cited as the "Nature Area Dedication , By-law, 1972, No. 1214" certain property owned by The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam was dedicated as a Nature Area; . AND WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of By-law No. 1281 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, cited as the "Nature Area Dedication By-law, 1973, No. 1281" and By-law No. 1393 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, cited as the "Nature Area Dedication By-law, 1975, No. 1393" additional real property owned by The Corporation of the City of Port | . Coquitlam was dedicated as a Nature Area; AND WHEREAS it is desired to consolidate by plan of subdivision all the parcels. of property dedicated as a Nature Area as aforesaid into one parcel; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. The real property described in By-law Ne. 1214, By-law No. 1281, and By-law No. 1393 and therein dedicated as Nature Area shall be included within Lot 325 shown on a.Plan of Subdivisicn prepared by Walter Rh. Frith, B.C.L.S., and dated September 19th, 1975, a copy of which said subdivision plan is attached hereto and made part of this By-law. . 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the said subdivision plan on behalf of the City and affix the Corporate Seal thereto and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby further authorized to sign such other plans, receipts, deeds, conveyances, or other documents as may be required for the purposes aforesaid and to affix the Corporate Seal thereto. 3. In accord with the provisions of By-law No. 1214, By-law No. 1281, and By-law No. 1393: “+ "(a) The real property comprising the said Lot 325 shall be managed and maintained by the Council for the use, recreation and enjoyment of the public and, subject to Subsection (b) hereof, the Council has and may exercise therein all the powers and authorities conferred on the Council with respect to public parks or pleasure grounds by the Municipal act or other Act of the Legislature or as is normally vested in Trustees of public parks or pleasure grounds.
