DISCUSSION: The owner of the sub/act property -ill be acquiring a strip of land (1.75 metres x 32.114 metres) ‘vom the neig. >:uring property to the south (1927 Salisbury Avenue). This will enlarge ‘e subject property to the width necessary for subdivision into two RS~z lots. The two proposed lots will be 12.0 metres in width and 32.114 metres in depth. Both will exceed the minimum site area requirement of 375 square metres. A aite inspection of the subject property was conducted by Planning Department Staff. The attached photographs show that the area on the west aide of Oxford Street generally contains older housing stock. New housea on small lots (many of which are 36 ft. wide or lesa) are found directly acroas | the street on the east side of Oxford. . : The propesed two lot subdivision conforms to the Zoning Bylaw requirements for RS-2 zoning. Approval of this Rezoning Application will permit the construction of two new single family residences, which will improve the appearance of the area.
