The central base system would be capable of handling the monitoring and controilin. £ all
pump stations in the City of Port Coquitlam. This equipment and software would ot be ©
required for one pump station.

Not included in the above would be the cost of the new controls for each existing station and
the provisions to transmit the signals to the base station.

The second tender from Enginesred Pump Systems Ltd. contains variations. These veriations
are acceptable but this tender does not offer any advantages over the low tender.

The specified delivery date is October 10, 1990. Flygr Canada Ltd. have quoted 9 weeka for

the pumping station and 11 weeks for the storage tanks. These dates will meet our specified
delivery date.

The eatimated budget provided in our letter of November 15, 1989 and January 31, 1990 waz:

Pump Station $ 77,500
Storage Tanke 35,008

Sub-total $112,500
+ 15% Contingency 16,800

Total $129,300

We recommend that the low tender from Flygt Canada Ltd. in the amount of $134,391.02 ba
accepted,
