March 16, 1992/069 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council meeting of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, March 16th, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. Acting Mayor J.J. Keryluk and Aidermen M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson and M.R. Wright were in attendance. | Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer I. Zahynacz, and the Director of Planning C.R. Felip. PUBLIC HEARING: Acting Mayor J.J. Keryluk advised the following proposed Bylaw would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2647: To amend the definition of "Townhouse" in Section 101 of "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" by adding the following thereto as a second paragraph: “Notwithstanding the definition of ‘Apartment Residential’ in this Bylaw, townhouse buildings may contain two or more dwelling units." ‘The Bylaw would reduce the present minimum requirement of three dwelling units in any one townhouse building to two dwelling units. The Bylaw does not. affect. the total number of dwelling units that may be built on any one site. a es All property in the City located in any zone in which a townhouse building may be constructed. .
