RECOMMENDATION:

That Council approve the charges to the cemetery rates as outlined in the attached report
from the Deputy Treasurer/Collector.

BACKGROUND:

The rates were last changed in 1987.

The Deputy Treasurer’s report includes a comparison of rates with other municipal
operations. on

The Audit Committee has requested additional information regarding the recommendation
on double depth interments and is not recommending a hange in this portion of the
by-law at this time. - _
