Discussion continued and it was concluded that there was indeed a problem and that Agriculture Canada should be contacted to help find a solution. Moved by Aldernan Laking: Seconded by Alde man Mabbett: That the residents affected by the odor from the piggeriés on- Devon Road be asked to sign complaint forms and ferward them to the Agricultural Environmental Control Committee; THAT the farmers be asked to empty their holding tanks early in the week on Monday or Tuesday; THAT the City contact Agriculture Canada to seek a solution to the odor from the piggeries; AND THAT the City's Environmental Protection Committee co-ordinate the information and prepare a report for Council.
