Maximum price of Float - $4,500.00, including all taxes.

The Float is to be constructed in such a manner that ft will Carry 18

persons in full view of the public,

The Float is to be self-propelled while in use as such, but capable of

being towed at highway speeds.

The Float will possess some folding or dismantling features for ease of

towing and storage,

The Parade Float is to be first used in the 1973 May Day Parade on May 12th,

2973 and must be available to the City before that date,

The City reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders for any: reason
whatsoever and the right is also reserved to discuss with any particular Tenderer
such modifications or changes to his tender or proposed design and/or mechanical
details as might be agreeable to the Tenderer to make his submission acceptable to

the City; including a possible increase in the price of the Parade Float over that

specified above as the maximum,

envelope for receipe by the City no later than 4:30 Pem., Thursday, February 22nd,
1973 when the sane will, as soon thereafter as convenient, be opened by the City
and the tendered price made public. I/we further understand that the Tenders will
be reviewed by a Committee to be appointed by che Mayor of the City and that
further information may be required or Tequested from any.of the Tenderers.
