Main street will be lit up like a Christmas tree early Saturday evening, when the parade of lights ushers in the tidings of the season — and the arrival of the star attraction, Santa himself. Presented by the Ter- race Tourism Council, the Kermode Christmas Par- ade of Lights will feature at least 25 different floats, coordinator Darryl Tucker says. He notes that four of Santa’s elves will be tra- velling on Canada Post's float. The elves will be col- lecting letters to Santa from children along the way. Children should be sure to include their names and mailing addresses in their lelters so Santa can reply.
