3.8. Summary

The objectives and policies of development in the Dominion Triangle are

summarized as follows:

' The City shall fecilitate developwent of the Dominion Triangle with uses
that best utilize the opportunities created by its location and
development that is cowpatible and harmonious with surrounding uses.

To provide for a mix of general and light industry and
industrial parks in the Dominion Triangle.

Policies:
a. Encourage development of high employment generating industry.
b. Locate general industrial uses that involve manufacturing and use of

heavy machinery and equipment im central areas of the Dominion —
Triangle.

c. Encourage industrial parks and light induatry to be entablished: in
peripheral areas of the Duslnion friangle. This would permit ‘clean
industrial usea such as warehouse distributica and offices te operate
in locations close to residential and environrentally-sensitive areas.
