The proposed rate schedule is an increase of approximately 3%.

The proposed new fee for SOlf courses and related facilities compares
with other municipalities as follows:

Coquitlam | (Vancouver Golf Club) $220

Pitt Meadows (Pitt Meadows Golf Club) $100
(Meadow Gardens) $100

Langley City (Newlands Golf Club) $2,000

Under our present by~law we igsue the golf course a total of seven (7)
Separate licences totalling $897. The Proposed new fea would include
any and all related facilities such as lounges, dining rooms, driving
range, pro shop, racquetball courts, etc.

To date we have received $163,922 (budgeted $164,800) from the sale of
business licences.
