Re: Proposed 149 Dewdney Route Revision

: The attached report discusses the proposed re-routing
of the 149 Dewdney to the LaFarge Park area of Coquitlam. The re-route
would result in a reduction in transit service to-Port Coquitlam City Hall.
As the report indicates, the trip link between the City Hall and Coquitlam
Centre is adequately served by the 160 Barnet and the 151 Laurentian.

The GVRD Transit Group, has targeted January 16, 1981
as the implementation date for the revised service. In order that the
views of Port Coquitlam can be evaluated with regards to the perceived
impact of this proposal, please contact Mr. John Mills of the Transit

Staff Group to initiate further discussions.
