Number of Facilities Refers to the aggregate number of a specified class of facility that are located vvithin a municipal boundary. Facilities should be distinguished from others on the basis of their licencing status (i.e. licensed or unlicensed). Number of Beds Refers to the aggregate number of beds found in a specified class of facility. The total should not include (un)licensed beds used by live-in staff. Funding Agency Refers to a group home’s principle source of funding. This includes direct assistance from single or multiple provincial sources, self-funding, or any other alternative. Tenure Refers to a group home’s type of ownership. Public. Facilities that receive monies direct!'y from government. Non-Profit. Facilities that are operated through a ‘non-profit’ society.
