SUBJECT: 1992 CAPITAL PROJECTS - SANITARY PUMP STATION
FLUSH MEXER INST ATIONS
(Public Works Comunittes Miceting of April 21, 1992)

That Council approve the installation of two flush mixers at the Hyde Creek Pump Station
and the Lynwood Pump Station at an estimated cost of $5,500.

That $5,500 be allocated from the 1992 Sanitary Sewer Utility Capital Fund.

Attached is a copy of the 1992 Capital Projects for the Sewer Utility along with a plan showing
the location of the Hyde Creek Sanitary Pump Station and the Lynwood Sanitary Pump Station.
The flush mixers circulate water within the wet well of the pump station there by reducing
grease build up and maintenance at these stations.

[t is recommended that flush mixers be installed at the Hyde Creek and Lynwood Pump Stations
at an estimated cost of $5,500.
