~ that "no-parking signs" be installed in front of the
Maintenance shop as per the attached sketch.

4.0 BACKGROUND

Mr. Low, Facility Manager of the School District
Maintenance shop has requested that a no parking sign
be installed west of the shop's entrance. He indicated
that large trucks park in this area which makes it
difficult for drivers to exit the shop because of poor
visibility.

Mr. Low's previous request dated February 2, 1991 for
painting 100 m of curb yellow at this location was
denied by committee.

3.20 COMMENTS

The parking area west of. the maintenance shop entrance:
is frequently occupied by large trucks. This poses a
safety hazard as. drivers leaving the maintenance yard
are unable to see eastbound traffic on Kingsway.
